The Dungeon Master's Blueprint Book - Quick update #4

Some numbers to share...

The Ultmate Dungeon Master’s Blueprint (Book Update #4)

A huge welcome to the 31 new subscribers this week!

First off, thanks so much for subscribing to this behind-the-scenes newsletter for my new book, The Dungeon Master’s Ultimate Campaign Blueprint for D&D. It means a lot to me. So, thanks!

Secondly, the first free chapter I released has been revised. The link hasn’t changed but I replaced the PDF with a newer version. I was sloppy getting the first one posted so it’s been edited for better readability, and I’ve corrected many of the typos. ✏️

I also added a note to the cover art in that free chapter to show that it’s not the final cover art. I have a suprise coming in a future update about this, so stay tuned.

Some numbers

I now have 35,872 words completed for the book. This means I’m well on track to complete my first draft by late July or early August.

I wanted the first version of this book to be a softcover and a digital release. But, last month I decided to get it out faster, I’d focus on the digital release first.

The length of the book hasn’t changed. I’m still targeting a total of 66,000 words, which is about 220 pages of a softcover 6×9 inch book.

So, that means I’m 54% of the way to completion of my first draft. Not too shabby.

Don’t forget!

These emails are exclusive, behind-the-scenes insights into my new book as I build it. Be sure to share this with others who may be thinking of becoming a Dungeon Master but don’t know where to start.

Also, send it to veteran DMs so they can make fun of me and tell me I’m wrong. I love constructive feedback! Do your worst! 😀

Game on! May all your rolls be 20s.
